A Soggy, but Successful Relay for Life

Undaunted by the weather, the MacEwen Relay for Life Team donned their rainboots and jackets and walked in the rain to help raise money for Cancer Research.

The money is still trickling in, but the team are proud to have raised over $4,000 through personal sponsorship and fund raising activities such a the annual Easter bake sale, gift basket raffle, hot dog lunches and more.

MacEwen Relays For Life

We came, we saw, we walked....all night!

With amazing support from families, friends and colleagues, and money raised from the sale of burgers, cupcakes and raffle tickets, Team MacEwen raised over $7,700 in the Canadian Cancer Society's Relay for Life in Maxville. This was the second year a MacEwen Team had participated in the fun, challenging and moving event and our team numbers and fund raising total swelled.

MacEwen Petroleum is the sole sponsor of the Luminary Walk. This part of the evening is dedicated to those we have lost to Cancer. The track is lined with thousands of candles bearing the name of friends and loved ones. We are proud to be a part of an event that raises millions of dollars for Cancer Research each year.
